Abueg is a Californian who has spent all his life working to empower individuals and communities to make a difference by bringing people together in a collaborative way to solve problems and enact change. But the first things his friends will tell you is that he has never forgotten where he's come from or who he's been fighting for all his life. Abueg is confident that California and the America's best days are still ahead of itself.
Christian in 2012 was a Finalist at the California State Champion Tournament for Speech and Debate. After Abueg's victory Peter Fischetti of the Press Enterprise stated, "It's probably not a great idea to get into an argument with Christian Abueg. Chances are you're going to lose." With a deep and profound interest in politics, Christian decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, BA (Hons), Degree in Political Science at Richmond University, the American International University in London (RAIUL). Abueg's time in London was bookended with glittering prestige, he was awarded his University's Deans List twice for Academic Excellence, his University's Best in Major for Political Science in 2014, and Richmond University's Top Graduating Senior in Political Science in 2015. Completing his degree in three years, in May of 2015 Abueg was awarded dual degrees in Political Science: an American Degree accredited by the Middle States Higher Commission with Latin Honors (Cum Laude) coupled with a British First Class Honors Degree in Political Science by the Open University (OU).
Abueg is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Masters of Science in Public Policy and Administration with a concentration in Public Management (M.Sc. PPA).
He is a member of one of the world's leading think-tanks in the United Kingdom, the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).
